Welcome!

Hey everyone. Welcome to the weblog dedicated to the new Eastlake High School Humanities Society. This club is devoted to encouraging students' awareness of the arts in the community. When we say Humanities, we mean ALL of the arts - visual arts, music, theatre, literature...well, at least as much as you can handle.
Here's a list of our future plans...

• We hope to attend museums in Balboa Park and exhibitions all around the city
• We will volunteer in cultural and artistic community service events
• We hope to watch various theatrical productions and concerts
• We hope to participate in art events and make our own contribution to the artistic community
• We will be representing the arts at all Eastlake High School club and volunteer functions including LuWow and TitanFest
• We hope to extend our love of the arts into our local community by hosting discussions and exhibitions

On this site we plan to post important notifications, interesting articles, and a calendar of events.

THE FIRST CLUB MEETING WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 10th IN ROOM 902 DURING LUNCH. We will be introducing the club and discussing the fundraiser for LuWow. We're doing tattoos!!! Please feel free to bring your own ideas.
