So You Missed the Meeting...?
Or your an incredibly devoted club member who, as a matter of fact, did attend the meeting and decided to inform yourself further because your frazzled club president was never endowed with the skills of a seasoned orator. Hence the weblog and today's recap:

VI. Upcoming Eastlake High Events
a. Center Stage Karaoke Night (Jan. 14) You know, I really thought that this was something that I would be interested in going to - until of course, word slipped out that a member of the audience could be bought, paid for, and forced to sing!?!?! Well...this could be interesting.
b. Youth and Government Halo Tourney (Jan. 21)
c. Dead Poets Society (Jan. 25)
VII. Open Discussion…future events? Club status?
We will be planning a date in early March for the Awake-a-thon. This is a Key Club tradition and it pleases me to inform you that we have been invited to participate in the event.
We are also contemplating a possible arts week to advocate the humanities to the rest of the school population. It's quite disheartening as an artist to realize that the only presentation of art on campus is in the confines of the classes themselves and the posters in the main office. But there's no need to be negative, we have a chunkful of time left and a wonderful group of arts enthusiasts.
