SDMA Celebrates Its 80th
The San Diego Museum of Art is celebrating its 80th anniversary this coming Tuesday, Feb. 28th, 2006. From 10am to 6pm on this day, the museum will have a 25 cent admission fee in a nostalgic representation of its earlier days and will be serving free cake all day.
The exhibit currently on display is the In Stabiano Exhibit (Feb 18th-May 14th) which features Roman frescoes of ancient Stabaie, a seaside resort of Roman elite.
The San Diego Museum of Art is located in the heart of Balboa Park.
We have school this Tuesday but we will be carpooling right afterschool (leaving by 245pm) to catch the last few hours of this event. If you would like to attend, please notify us. This is a great opportunity that really shouldn't be missed so please come!
