Paint N Picnic

Our very first Paint N Picnic will be at Sunset View Park (1390 South Greensview) this Sunday from 12pm to 4pm or for the painters, as long as theres light out. If you plan on working on a painting, please bring your own painting equipment such as an easel, canvas, brushes, paint etc...whatever you need.

For those who aren't inclined in the visual arts, you are still very welcome to join in and try something new. It started out as a lighthearted suggestion, but I really think it would be interesting if we had a few live models for the artists to view. Sunset View Park has basketball courts, a roller hockey facility, a playground (are you in a nostalgic mood?), and quite a view with its spacious fields. It is also a city designated dog park so feel free to bring rover if he's friendly. If you plan on attending, please try and bring a dish or snack to share with the club in keeping with the picnic theme.

As an example of what would be a good idea to bring here's what I'm packing...an art easel stocked with paints, brushes and a container for water, a guitar, a basketball, camera, food, and if my dog feels like she's in a mood for a car ride, Foxy.
