Who could say no to free food, some great music, and chilling with friends on the weekend? Back in August (the 28th to be exact) a few of us attended a music festival in the park in downtown Chula Vista. We layed out a blanket, talked and ate KFC while being entertained by the soothing sounds of jazz. While meandering around the park, we stumbled across free fruit provided by the organizers of the concert. I dont think I have ever had a better tasting apple. Learned that the concert was put on as part of a series of events in Chula Vista to promote health and well-being. As the band wrapped up I thought to myself, "Would there of been a better way to spend my saturday?"...no, I don't think there was. - Kristy Elbel
