American Cancer Society Relay for Life

We are Arts with Hearts
The Eastlake Humanities Society will be participating in this years Relay for Life. More information will be available at the next club meeting in room 902 on Thursday during lunch.

We all know someone who has been touched by cancer. There are so many of us who are concerned about this disease and want to make a difference. The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life® is a great way to take a stand against cancer.
At the event, we’ll camp out overnight, walk around the track, and meet lots of new people. There is an incredible tribute to cancer survivors and caregivers to kick off the event and a moving ceremony honoring those who have fought the disease. I can say Relay is truly unlike anything else you’ll ever do.

The Relay for Life is on May 20-21st, 2006
@ Hilltop Elementary School30 Murray StChula Vista, CA 91910

Visit our team site at

We will be discussing fundraising ideas and explaining the event and how to sign up at our next club meeting. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

" The story - Two of the ancient world’s greatest rulers meet, seduce and conquer in this dramatic tale. Julius Caesar, ruler of the world’s largest empire, defeats his rival Pompey and pursues him to Egypt. There, he meets the infamous Queen Cleopatra, joint ruler of Egypt with her brother Ptolemy. But Cleopatra wants it all – the country, the throne and Caesar. So in history’s sexiest political coup, Cleopatra bewitches Julius Caesar into helping her overthrow Ptolemy and enthrone her as sole Pharaoh of Egypt." - sdopera.com
